Lots of dead spins, then suddenly everything opens up. Only recommend it on a small stake.

How to play San Quentin xWays
The base layout is 5 × 3. The number of ways to win changes every spin because the mechanics split and enlarge symbols.
Razor Split splits every regular position on its reel in two. The xWays symbol reveals the same symbol stacked up to four high. One or two bonus symbols open the Enhancer Cell on their reel and turn into a wild.
Lockdown Spins
Three, four or five bonus symbols trigger Lockdown Spins with one, two or three jumping wilds.
- Jumping wilds move to a random spot every spin.
- When one of these wilds lands on a reel with Razor Split, its multiplier doubles, up to a maximum of 512x.
- Enhancer Cells stay open for the whole round.
The bonus buy costs 100x, 400x or 2,000x the bet, depending on the number of bonus symbols.
San Quentin stats
According to Nolimit City, a win lands on 34.25% of spins and free spins come once in 230. Volatility is extreme, so the demo is the best way to see whether that rhythm suits you.

Got Lockdown Spins once every few nights. Paid over 200x so not complaining, but you need heaps of patience.

Prison theme isn't my thing but the mechanics are really polished.

When a Razor Split hits a jumping wild the multiplier doubles. Once had 64x and it was the best bonus of my life.
