Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. We do not run user accounts and we do not sell data. Your name and contact details are stored only if you send us a message yourself. Below we explain exactly what is recorded when you visit the site.

Who is responsible

The owner of aussiecasinoonline.com.au is responsible for the data described here. For privacy questions, write to [email protected].

Visit statistics without cookies

Our own statistics work without cookies. For each visit we record:

We do not store your IP address. We combine the IP address, the browser name and the current date into a one way hash with a secret key, so the value is different every day. It lets us count unique visits within a day, but it cannot be turned back into an address or used to follow you from one day to the next. We keep these records for up to 365 days.

Casino ratings

When you rate a casino or a game, we store the rating, the time of the vote and a hash of your IP address made with a secret key. The hash only serves to allow one vote per address. Your browser's local storage keeps a note of your vote so we can show it on your next visit.

Contact form and comments

From the contact form we store your name, email address or phone number, the topic, the message and the time it was sent. We use this only to answer you, and we delete messages after 12 months at the latest.

When you post a comment about a casino or a game, we store the name you sign with, the text and the time. Both forms also create a hash of your IP address with a secret key. It protects us against spam and cannot be turned back into the address.

Cookies

The site does not set tracking cookies and does not use third party analytics or advertising tools. Your browser's local storage keeps only what the site needs to work: your casino ratings and a note that the cookie notice was closed.

A game demo loads from the provider's server only after you press the button. The provider may then set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

The "Get bonus" buttons lead through our redirect address to the operator's site. After that, the casino's own privacy policy applies. The operator may record that you came from us in order to pay an affiliate commission.

Server logs

Like every web server, our hosting server keeps technical logs with IP addresses and browser names. They are used for security and fixing faults. The hosting provider sets how long they are kept.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 you can ask to access the personal information we hold about you and to correct it. Because we do not store IP addresses, statistics and ratings usually cannot be linked to a person. We will delete a message sent through the form if you ask from the same contact details. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page. Last change: October 2026.
